CinnaMount mini USB Edition and CinnaMount mini Classic Edition launches
LA TUQUE—2007-10-15—Cinnamon Peripherals, Ltd. launches the CinnaMount mini USB Edition and CinnaMount mini Classic Edition, two new mounts for the Mac mini and Mac mini-sized peripherals.
The CinnaMount mini USB Edition features a front USB port that allows easy access for everyday peripherals such as USB drives. This new mount also features the same mounting holes that allows stacking of CinnaMount mini Classic Edition and/or CinnaMount mini Silver Edition v2 unit(s) underneath it.
The CinnaMount mini Classic Edition also features the mounting holes that allows stacking of a CinnaMount mini USB Edition above it or CinnaMount mini Classic Edition and/or CinnaMount mini Silver Edition v2 unit(s) underneath it.
Both new models also features the same open design as the previous Industrial Edition and Silver Edition v2, which will not block side ports on peripherals such as NewerTech's miniStack™ V2/V3 or the LaCie mini Hard Drive & Hub.
A perfect mount for schools and businesses, the CinnaMount mini USB Edition and its power supply mount holds the Mac mini/power supply in place and prevents unauthorized removal. Though they are not anti-theft devices, they are a better solution than previous models for educational and commercial uses.
As with all previous products, the internal packagings are made of recyclable paperboard instead of foam or plastic.
The CinnaMount mini USB Edition is sold as a kit which includes an aluminum mount for the Mac mini power supply and is priced at 50$ CAD per kit. The CinnaMount mini Classic Edition is sold as a stand-alone unit without a power supply mount and is priced at 35$ CAD.
