Cinnamon Peripherals

Company

MegaXtra UltraTech 3000 Cinnamon Peripherals. What a strange name, you might think. I could have chosen a futuristic and high-tech name like MegaXtraUltraTech 3000, but it sounded even stranger and it would sound outdated in the year 3001 and beyond. So I chose Cinnamon Peripherals instead. Besides, I like cinnamon and my company sells peripherals… why not combine the two?

Of course, every company will tell you they are making quality products. But you do get what you pay for. Some will cut on features and quality just to have the lowest price. Others will rush a product to market for the sake of being first. At Cinnamon Peripherals, my goal is to be able to bring you quality products with useful features at reasonable prices. Respecting the environment is also a huge part of my company's ethics.

Our Customers

I am not a giant corporation that tries to push its products on their consumers. I am a one-man team dedicated to bring innovative products to my customers. My manufacturing partners allows me to make very specialized products in very small quantities. I will gladly make a limited edition of 100 units if there is enough demand. Big companies will not even bother with such a small quantity because they will not be able to make a profit from it.

Only $99.99! Talking about profits.… Who do they think they are fooling with their "below $100" prices? Between you and me, these kinds of prices are a bit insulting. That is why you will see whole prices and none of that "Only $99.99!" nonsense on my website.

Environment

Recycling logo I strive to use as much recyclable packaging as possible. I also want to minimize the waste produced by my company, so I always seek alternatives to classic methods.

Cardboard packing pad One example is hardware. Most companies would simply put the parts in a small plastic bag. But even with a recycling code on them, they're harmful if they end up in the environment. My solution? For the CinnaMount mini Silver Edition, I use a cardboard packing pad for the screws and their plastic caps, the Velcro™ straps, the allen key and the bolts. It also holds the power supply mount, if included.

Bubble-wrap sheets and styrofoam peanuts are wasteful and polluting products. Not to mention annoying when unpacking boxes. And let's not forget the environmental impact if they end up in landfills instead of being re-used.

So instead of using these kinds of products I use paper-based protective packaging which is 100% recyclable. It's better for me, for you and for the planet.

Cardboard box My cardboard boxes are not printed in full-color with a glossy finish. And I'm pretty sure you'd rather pay for the actual product instead of a costly box that will probably end up in the recycling bin.
